Label makanan dan minuman memiliki elemen sebagai berikut:

1. Brand of the product, Merek produk,

2. Name of the product, Nama produk,

3. Description of the product, Deskripsi produk,

4. Contents or amounts the product, Isi atau jumlah produk,

5. Ingredients of the product, Bahan produk,

6. Directions for instrument about the product (directions for consumption), Petunjuk tentang instrumen tentang produk (petunjuk konsumsi),

7. Directions for storage of the product Petunjuk penyimpanan produk 

8. Expiry date of the product, Tanggal kedaluwarsa produk,

However, drug or medicine has different element as follows:
